Last night the Rolling Stones preformed at the Steelers victory, I mean The Super Bowl.[sorry] ABC, was happy that they imposed the 5 second delay after the Janet Jackson Booby Gate.
The Stones performance was censored, when ABC found it had to cut some lyrics from the show after telling the Stones that the songs where ok. Could you imagine if they did "Sweet Neo-Con"?
ArticleAt 9:45 or so, rehearsal ends and the musicians pack up. And Patrick Woodroffe, the Stone's lighting designer, drops by the trailer to say hello to Mischer. The Stones have still not set a playlist, but what's "really interesting," says Woodroffe, is that the NFL will allow the band to sing the word "come" even if it can have another spelling and meaning, and same with "cocks."
My wife said to me that it seemed that Mick forgot the lyrics to "Start Me Up", I know that he is in his 60s but I didn't think that was the case. While watching the local news this morning, they mentioned that ABC, found it necessary to cut the lyrics from the show. That's one for the administration.
Now back to reality, Iran becomes more defiant, Read on>>>>
With the announcement of possible sanctions to be imposed on Iran the price of a barrel of oil shot up. Iran did state that if sanctions were posed on the country, they would shut down the flow of oil. This rise in price was due to that fear, and not because of moves by Iran.
As I said before you can see the mainstream media pushing the case for the administration's case for control of Iran. They are using catch phrases like, terrorist, and member of the axes of evil.
Saturday the IAEA reported to The UN Security Counsel, in fear that Iran is going to obtain Nuclear capability. Story
The International Atomic Energy Agency reported Iran to the U.N. Security Council on Saturday over fears it wants to produce nuclear arms, raising the stakes in the diplomatic confrontation and prompting Tehran to threaten immediate retaliation.
Of the board's 35 member nations, 27 voted for referral, reflecting more than two years of intense lobbying by the United States
Iran said that the move by The IAEA will stop voluntary corporation with the watchdog on its part.
Iran remained defiant, threatening to do precisely what referral was meant to prevent. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered the resumption of uranium enrichment and an end to snap IAEA inspections of its nuclear facilities, according to state television.
"As of Sunday, the voluntary implementation of the additional protocol and other cooperation beyond the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty has to be suspended under the law," Ahmadinejad said in a letter to Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh, head of the nation's nuclear agency.
As you remember Iran broke the seals on it uranium enrichment equipment on January 10th of this year, causing te USA and its allies to go to the IAEA . The(P)Resident wanted the UN Security Council to call a special meeting as quick as possible.
Now with the latest move on the part of the IAEA, Iran has said it will resume the enrichment.
Javed Vaeidi, deputy head of Iran's powerful National Security Council, also said his country "now has to implement fuller scale of enrichment." Vaeidi also said a proposal to enrich Iranian uranium in Russia was dead.
The Islamic Republic News Agency quoted Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar describing U.S. leaders as "terrorists and the main axis of evil in the world."
Najjar was responding to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who at a high-level security conference in Munich, Germany, repeated Washington's view of Iran as the "world's leading state sponsor of terrorism."
Sen. John McCain, speaking at the same conference, said military action could not be ruled out if diplomatic efforts fail to stop Iran from developing a nuclear bomb.
European leaders expressed support for the referral, through a resolution drafted by France, Britain and Germany on behalf of the European Union.
[Personal Note] I have been watching and comparing the rhetoric, from the point of the US for a while now, and I see the same tactics that were used against Iraq, only the words, and names have been changed. It is still the type of campaign that takes the worst case scenario and forcing it down the public's throat, and from what I have seen it is working. As I said before, look at the media parroting the administrations line on this, and the terminology that is being used by ordinary people that you talk to about the conflict, is that of the administration. (Shit they got to me)
I truly don't want to see military action taken on this, but as I see it the administration has it's mind made up. Now it's just a matter when and how they do it. If you take a look at my diary yesterday you can see that all things point to it.
