Joe Lieberman said you can judge someone by the friends they keep. While the blogosphere knows well the Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity support of Lieberman, do voters in connecticut know that?
Mike DeWine - one of JOe's buddies in the "gang of 14" is currently running an ad with a person who says 20 years ago someone in Sherrod Brown's office sold drugs. There were no charges or convictions and the DeWine campaign doesn't even provide a name for who it is. Tweety even asked DeWine if he was embarrassed for airing such scum. http://www.crooksandliars.com/...
LIeberman has provided an issue that goes straight to his perceived strength - though false - of integrity. Namely, Joementia or his campaign employees are currently under investigation by BOTH the federal FEC and the state of connecticut elections enformement commission.

Lamont's campaign - while it issued press releases never made EVEN AN INTERNET ONLY ad or clip on this. Why?
I think a couple of points the campaign has made are good. 1. a vote for Joe is a referendum on Iraq. Vote for JOe is a vote for more warS.
2. Have the courage to vote for lamont and vote for change.
I hope these 2 points have and are being made painfully obvious.
One thing that is missing is a simple ad with Lamont speaking directly to the voters - no hillsman stuff - about the seriousness of this election. The wesley clark ad comes closest to it... but Lamont isn't in the ad.
Why did the Lamont campaign not make a bigger issue of Joe's campaign violations and impropriety?
