Personally, I'm been keeping a wary eye on the media these last couple days. I don't want to get myself into a frenzy about one thing or another, one
way or another.
I also don't want to get myself overly excited and hyped up when ultimately, nobody is going to know anything solid until every precinct closes, every vote is counted, and Scalito calls the election.
Ok, I'm just kidding about that last part.
But seriously, people, I've been checking in from time to time on DailyKos and other blogs I frequent to get the headlines and overall consensus. And the consensus I see is overall - upbeat, positive, and looking forward towards change.
The last thing I want to see is gloom and doom. "Oh the poll said...," "so-and-so is surging," "the "numbers...the talking heads...the PUNDITS!"
Give it a rest already. You're driving yourself Katherine Harris Crazy, driving other people who are trying to remain upbeat and calm crazy, and you're starting to drive me crazy. I know were all very anxious and we're trying to hard to remain behind ourselves (as opposed to getting ahead of ourselves) and we've only got a couple more days to do it.
Think you can hang in there, hold it together, and maintain some grace until we really start to get a clear picture of what's going on?
I'm pretty sure I can, but I hope you can too.
