Two important side stories from tonight include the overwhelming success of the minimum wage initiatives in six states and the failure of most of Howie Rich's fake property rights initiatives except Arizona who got fooled on Prop 207.
Think the middle class is feeling the pinch, minimum wage initiatives passed across the country by wide margins:
Ohio: 56%
Missouri: 74%
Montana: 73%
Nevada: 65%
Arizona: 66%
Colorado: 52%

Regulatory takings, another property rights issue on the ballot, received less support.
Initiatives in California, Arizona, Washington and Idaho proposed that governments pay property owners for losses in property value due to regulations or zoning changes or waive the regulations.
Partial results showed the proposal was rejected by voters in Washington and Idaho. With almost half of the votes in, the fate of the initiative was too close to call in California, where 51% of the voters supported it and 49% were against it.
Regulatory takings only received widespread support in Arizona, where 65% of the voters approved the measure.
