After a 2 week hiatus, it returns. The weekly compilation of all things "Crap", with some very very hot women barely dressed thrown in for good measure, is back. Today has felt like Christmas. It's sort of like when they blow up the Death Star for the 2nd time & bring down the Empire in Return of the Jedi, and the Ewoks decide to dance around a fire. Luke is content & sees his father at peace, who is either an old man or Hayden Christensen, depending on which of the numerous editions of the same damn movie repackaged to sell more DVDs you watch. Damn you Lucas!!!!
So "it's miller time." Here's the tabloid & entertainment news making the rounds this week....
Kevin Federline Wants Child Custody & Spousal Support From Britney Spears
News broke this week that the most fucked relationship in celebritydom was ending. The tragic tale of Britney & K-Fed. One of the most whacked out interviews I've ever seen is Britney Spears on "Dateline" sobbing while trying to say that her marriage was great. Cognitive dissonance at its finest, while bringing 2 kids into the world. You can watch video of K-Fed being informed of Brit's decision to kick him to the curb, by way of text message, by clicking here.
However, now comes word that K-Fed has decided to fight back. His lawyer has filed his response to Britney's divorce petition, in which he demands....
...Legal and physical custody of the couple's children. Sources tell TMZ that Federline will fight Spears on the custody issue. In the response, obtained by TMZ, Federline is asking the judge to award Spears visitation.
Federline is also asking the court to award him spousal support. Federline's lawyer, Mark Kaplan, filed the response Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
In her petition, Spears asked for sole physical and legal custody of the kids.
Federline might need that spousal support. There are reports that his struggling rap career is going from
bad to worse....
K-Fed's New York City gig at Webster Hall wasn't cancelled as some predicted -- but it reportedly took some big-time begging on his part.
"They were going to cancel this concert, but he begged them to keep it on," a Webster Hall bartender told Star. "He had to fight with them to keep this concert." Only 300 people showed up at the club that holds 1,500.
K-Fed was scheduled to go on at 7 pm, but the crowd was so sparse that the aspiring rapper waited for three hours in hopes that more fans would appear.
Reese Witherspoon Files For Divorce
The divorce bug is spreading. Reese Witherspoon will soon be free woman again, after leaving husband Ryan Phillippe when she caught him cheating on her with his 24 year old co-star.
The mistress, Abbie Cornish, happens to look a lot like Reese...
Ryan Phillippe, 30, developed a close relationship with his Stop Loss costar Abbie Cornish, 24, who, in recent pictures, is almost a doppelganger for Phillippe's estranged wife, Reese Witherspoon, 30 (the pair split after seven years of marriage on October 30). What gives?
"When men cheat, they are trying to find a woman who has the qualities that they like in their wife, without the qualities that they don't like," says Beverly Hills psychiatrist Carole Lieberman...
Doogie Howser Is Gay
Last week, a story reported that Neil Patrick Harris was gay and in a relationship with actor David Burtka. Originally, Neil Patrick Harris' publicist put out a statement that said Harris "is not of that persuasion."
However, the next day, Harris went to People to tell them...
"The public eye has always been kind to me, and until recently I have been able to live a pretty normal life. Now it seems there is speculation and interest in my private life and relationships. So, rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love."
Another Lindsay Lohan Crash
You didn't think I could leave out a story about the patron-saint of "TIC" diaries? Lindsay Lohan was involved in a car accident. Lindsay has gotten into car wrecks with paparazzi before. This is not the first time the corps of assholes with cameras have damaged one of her Mercedes...
However, there's a little bit more context to this run in....
Sources tell us a photographer chasing the 20-year-old actress rear-ended her black Mercedes near the corner of Olympic and La Cienega in L.A. around 2 a.m. yesterday.
"She was apparently able to drive a short distance from the crash," says a source. "But she later pulled over and called a friend to pick her up."
Lohan's rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, confirmed the accident, but had no information on the "Bobby" star's condition or whether she had filed a police report.
Earlier in the evening, Lohan was videotaped outside the hot spot Hyde, sitting in her car while talking to a "mystery man," according to TMZ.com. "La Lohan appeared a little upset and teary-eyed under a hooded shirt" before "speeding off, alone," the gossip site said.
"The Simpsons" Or "Family Guy"?
Which is the better show? Will the "Family Guy" one day surpass "The Simpsons"? Or has it already?
It seems almost inconceivable that anything might surpass The Simpsons as animation's crowning achievement -- it just is -- but that unruly new kid on the cartoon block, The Family Guy, has been steadily nipping at Homer's heels these past few years.
Family Guy reruns are sprawling towards the sort of globally syndicated ubiquity that has fortified Matt Groening's Simpsons empire, while Guy merchandise is being churned out at a rate to eventually rival The Simpsons' market share. TV pundits talk of a generational divide between Family Guy's high school/university audience and the millions who've embraced The Simpsons for 19 seasons.
And most crucially, The Family Guy has been getting funnier, cockier and lewder since its fan-driven renaissance at Fox -- which cancelled the series in 2002, only to sheepishly invite back it and its creator, 33-year-old Seth MacFarlane, three years later -- while these days The Simpsons is often spoken of by long-time supporters as past its prime.
Spider-Man 3 Pics
If you go here, you can see on-set pics of production of Spider-Man 3. The image above is of Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy. There's also pics for the character design of Sandman and Venom. The last I heard, there's actually 4 villians in the movie.
