Judith Miller, the former Bush / Republican shill as a former "investigative" reporter for the New York Times said at a Kansas State University conference Friday that "the balance between national security and civil liberties has been tipped, allowing the Bush administration to become secretive about its decisions, intrusive into public lives and reluctant to share information the public has a right to know ... We are less free and less safe,"

Wow, can you believe the unmitigated gall of this woman She personally made us all less safe with her constant boosterism of the disaster that Iraq has become, but now she is "concerned" Seems like she is as always a poor excuse for a reporter, acting like this is "news". Note to Ms. Miller, the American electorate figured this out weeks ago and many of us years ago.
Reminds me of the speech that Justice Sandra Day O'Connor gave earlier this year about the danger of the direction the executive branch was taking under Bush. It is just amazing to me that the folks who were supposed to be so smart couldn't see what a lot of average folks could see. That G.W. Bush and his thugministration were a very dangerous group with an agenda completely out of sync with the ideals and traditions of our Constitution.
