The group Election Defense Alliance (EDA), a national election integrity organization, claims that evidence shows the just-concluded election was skewed Republican by 3,000,000 hacked votes. This is posted at truthout.com or you can see the original here.
I’m leaving it to readers, especially our code cutters and poll geeks, to plow through what is a technically thorough article. I just want to get this up for view ASAP. The money quote:
“The numbers tell us there absolutely was hacking going on, just not enough to overcome the size of the actual turnout. The tide turned so much in the last few weeks before the eleciton. It looks for all the world that they'd already figured out the percentage they needed to rig, when the programming of the vote rigging software was distributed weeks before the election, and it wasn't enough," Castleman commented.
We all know that the surge of Republican scandal and failure in the weeks before the election was political death on a soda cracker to our country’s largest organized crime syndicate. What we didn’t know was that a solid GOTV and, I’m guessing, some pangs of GOP voter conscience may, fortunately, have beaten high tech opposition to what should have been an even larger Democratic victory.
Was the hacking enough to turn any of the super-close elections? Who knows? But we should press Congress to investigate next year and pass federal legislation requiring a paper audit trail where e-voting machines are deployed before 2008. I can’t wait to see the Chimp in Chief rationalize his veto on the basis of “the resulting paper shortages making us less secure and helping our enemies.”
Reportedly, Justice Antonin Scalia, in defending the hit job the SCOTUS performed in the 2000 election, said he didn’t want the State of Florida deciding the Presidency. Fine. I don’t want Diebold techs deciding everything.
Don’t let our win sidetrack this issue. It lives on. Press for answers.
