Now I love Al Gore and I love the Big Dog.
But I'm baffled to see the CW breaking with the Big Dog as the "only bigger" endorsement remaining.
An Al Gore endorsement speaks to 51 million voters who think they were robbed in 2000. How many voters are still connected to Clinton?
Gep tells us to put that aside and let the past be the past, but 2000 was far worse than losing a Super Bowl on questionable call. Teams and fans remember this kind of thing and get their payback next time. How many times have you heard people who are paying little attention to politics joke that they are going to make sure they poke that chad all the way through? I think that voters will respond and empathize with fightin' Al Gore all through 2004.
A Clinton endorsement would be huge for Washington people who need persuading, but there's no way a Gore endorsement isn't better for the voters.
