We had yet another great meetup last night in New York City. Around 30 dKos regulars and irregulars showed up for a post-election party at Yaffa's in Tribeca.
Thanks everyone for coming! To those of you who didn't make it, we look forward to seeing you at a future meetup! If you want to receive email announcements about these, just drop a line to me or to vancookie (our email addresses are in our profiles) and we'll add you to the list.
Photo highlights below the fold...
Our special guests were Democratic NY State Senate candidate Brian Keeler and his volunteer campaign crew. Here is Brian (center) with his campaign manager Audrey and Tom Ball wearing the famous Schwietzer bolo tie! Tom organized the two big blograisers for Brian's campaign this fall.
And then there's Lipris, who not only made some terrific TV ads for the campaign, but moved up to Beacon for the last month before the election to help out full time.
Here are few of the attendees--I'll try to name them, but hope others will help me out. First there's vancookie and ask, with my lurker friend in the background. She'll be registering soon, so we can soon identify her by a user name in the future.
Then we have Klio, who came all the way from Oklahoma to be at our meetup. No actually, she was in NY for the holidays, and wanted to stop by. Thanks again for coming, Klio! She pictured with Larry in NYC and Mr. Frameshop himself, Jeffrey Feldman. I can't be sure about the next two names, but I believe the one on the right is lucid (?)
Last pic is of Marlboro Lite, who traveled for hours to be with us from South Jersey. Thanks for coming, ML! She's with Larry, who somehow managed to get into most of my photos. I cropped him out of the others, but left him in this one because it has a pumpkin in it.
Sorry I didn't get more photos. Vancookie took some, which he might post here late tonight in comments or in another diary tomorrow. I don't think I posted photographs of anyone wishing to remain anonymous. If I did, let me know and I'll take it down immediately.
