There's been a couple new things lately with the story editor. One, if you have a totally blank diary draft and try to create a new diary, you'll be redirected to the existing draft. Don't worry, it won't happen if you've done anything with it.
Two, there's a new feature now that if you start a draft, but publish it a different day, you'll get a new sid upon publishing and get redirected to it. There's a small caveat, though: with Firefox 2.0 browsers, it won't reload properly after publishing, so you'll need to reload by hand after publishing a draft from a previous day. This issue doesn't affect FF 2.0 with drafts published the same day they're created and doesn't affect other browsers. It should be fixed with Firefox 2.0.1.
Update [2006-11-29 11:45:33 by ct]: Ooops, there was a small bug with draft reusing that I overlooked on the dev box but jotter triggered, so that's fixed. Also, if you're having problems with publishing a diary, the js and css changed a bit, so try the infamous "shift-reload" thing. That should fix most problems with publishing a diary.
