On Hardball they brought up the fact that although Kerry was behind nationally, he held a slim lead in battleground states. This was thought to be the product of these states being on the front lines of the war on labor - outsourcing.
However, if the trend continues, Kerry could lose the popular vote but none the less win the electorial college.
That would be really ironic.
How come we cannot overcome the "lessor of the two evils" choice? We came so close this time, only to have defeat snatched from the jaws of victory again.
