I don't really have that much to say, but perhaps the Kossacks can fill me in on why post-katrina - trying to help
get New Orleans back up, reminding the people of Katrina etc... -- why isn't the 2008 convention going to be held in New Orleans.
It seems like a fun place and one that could get the prestige and money the DNC needs to committ to a location.
Apparently, Colorado may not make it because they can't raise enough money to have it there.
Why not the big easy? Apparently Colorado also has union issues. Politically I would think a 2008 presidential contender would want to remind people of Katrina and the GOP management of government.
