Three quick things in today's diary:
An update on the call to action by Juan Cole on Elliott Abram's use of the CIA Publications Review Board to censor a former CIA official's criticism of the administration's Iran policy.
A parallel problem - Wolfowitz must be removed as head of the World Bank!
Last: Coleen Rowley, TIME person of the year, 9/11 FBI whistleblower and MN-02 democratic candidate needs your help to retire her campaign debt, as does Sen. Becky Lourey. Rowley has campaign memorabilia for sale on eBay.com.
Juan Cole has an update on the situation with Elliot Abrams. The Financial Times has written an article on it, but personally I am disappointed that "Elliott Abrams" has not yet become an item in the list of most popular tags used or searched for on Technorati. We need more bloggers to post about this. Leverett's presentation yesterday on CSPAN is informative and worth writing a summary of and linking to, if we want more MSM consideration of the issue of how to deal with Tehran, and the problems of censorship and politicized intelligence.
Elliott Abrams' partner in crime in the lead up to the Iraq war was Paul Wolfowitz, no the head of the World Bank, an organization that is imploding under his mis-leadership. Wolfowitz needs to be forced out of the World Bank, and ultimately, needs to face trial for his crimes in the planning and pitching of the imperial project.

Here in Minnesota, the two most compelling democratic candidates of 2006 need your help in retiring their campaign debts. The Pioneer Press has an article on how Rowley is selling campaign paraphenelia on eBay.com.
Sen. Becky Lourey will be celebrated by the Pine County DFL and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe at an event held at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN on Saturday, December 23rd, from 2 - 5 PM, if you need an opportunity to thank her for her run for Governor, for her legislative career, and her activism.
