Radiotony called it first.
If you want your issues covered on the Nader/Kerry/Bush comparison, you have to put it in the comments.
I'll summarize SOME of the military related issues of the three candidates today and cover the rest tomorrow.
Iraq:
Kerry - Current Bush policy in Iraq is mistake. We need to talk to our allies and see what they want us to do in exchange for their continued support. If we leave Iraq now, it will become a haven for terrorists. We have to fix the mess we made. Make sure that the new government is stable, and help rebuild institutions there before leaving. We have to court new allies as well, by listening to their ideas and needs and carrying them out. He does not support an automatic veto by our allies over our military decisions in Iraq or elsewhere, but he doesn't rule out giving them more of a say in how operations are run.
Nader - Get UN peacekeepers into Iraq now. Then pull the US out. US can supervise elections with the UN and provide humanitarian assistance.
Bush - Get this, kids! This guy got us in AND ... he has no specific policy on the end game. Lots of mumbling from his entourage about leaving after elections ... let's see what he actually DOES once the Spanish, Poles, and Central Americans leave. I sound like Dean ...
Okay ... tomorrow, more in depth posts on soldiers/vets benefits, weapons systems, and military policy.
