If/when the Frat Boy Emperor and the Excutive Low-life Who Is Really In Charge get their asses handed to them, should Pelosi, as the new president, pardon these fuckers?
With the death of Gerald Ford, the issue of his pardoning Tricky Dick has been hailed by the Corporate Media as being "in the best interests of America".
That, clearly, is bullshit.
Much has been made of Edward Kennedy "admitting" that he was wrong to oppose Nixon's pardon, on the occasion of awarding Ford the Kennedy Profile In Courage honour.
What would have happened if Ford had not pardoned the sour-mash guzzling traitor-in-chief?
He could have been charged with criminal offences and faced imprisonment for life. He would have died in prison, an example to all politicians after him that the Rule Of Law was alive and well in America. A whole new reality would have taken hold: the international shame felt by America of having a living President languishing in Federal Prison would have been a wake-up call for Americans, for the Media, and for the world. Iran-Contra would likely have not happened and thus Carter would not have been screwed by the secret deal to undermine his re-election bid with the hostage affair; Carter's energy policy would have been enacted; the explicit sanctioning of Saddam's invasion of Kuwait by April Gillespe would probably not have happened; Clinton's insane bombing of Yugoslavia would not have happened; Frat Boy's illegal invasion of Iraq would not have happened; and today there would NO discussion of the possibilty of invading or nuking Iran.
In short, had Nixon been treated like the criminal he was and sequestered in a federal dungeon, reality today would be quite different. Presidents would be held to account for their actions, just like you or me would be.
Either you have rule of law or you have tyranny, there is no middle ground.
