Welcome to Bookchat where you can discuss any kind of book, essays, plays, quotes or words.
Tonight, I am thinking of books from around the world. We have a feast for both non-fiction and fiction readers.
There are many great stories that are not on my list so I
hope you will add your favorites. We can learn so much about a society and country from reading books. Different viewpoints from different eyes make us grow and change
in our world view especially if we cannot travel.
I know many of you have traveled widely in other countries, studied there, and perhaps are living abroad right now. I would love to hear the books that you would choose to
represent what you see and hear.
We have mentioned some of these stories before, but fiction or nonfiction; adult or young adult, the stories about other countries give us a feeling for a different time and place that is important.
