You say we do not torture? Can we have that in writing, President Bush?
Can we have that as a Presidential Directive or whatever those enumerated commands are that you put out? Tell your President of Vice, or Vice President that we do not torture.
As commander in chief, (cough, cough) tell your troops to stop torturing. If you don't, you're not following through. You're not finishing the job. You're all about decisiveness and black and white, aren't you? We Do Not Torture. Sounds like a command to me. Make it official as a commander, President Bush. If anyone gets in the way of that, be it your Vice President, your Attorney General or your private counsel, let them know what you mean. You are in charge, aren't you?
