Unlike the media, I didn't take the white house at its word, and actually decided to examine the documents released by the white house concerning Bush's military service. And you know what? The White House lied about Bush's service...he didn't fulfill his duty.

here is the gist. The White House got some guy named Albert Lloyd to look at some Bush related documents. Lloyd wrote a memo saying that, based on those documents, bush had fulfilled his duty because he had gotten 50 "points."
But as the article shows, the 50 point standard was applicable only to airmen with 20 years of service. US STATUTORY AND REGULATORY LAW, AS WELL AS AIR FORCE REGULATIONS, MANDATED A DIFFERENT STANDARD FOR THOSE WHO HAD NOT FULFILLED THEIR SIX YEAR CONTRACTURAL OBLIGATION
This is just the beginning of what I've found by studying the documents ALONG WITH the relevant federal law and Defense Department regulations and the Air Force regulations that were derived from the federally mandated standards and procedures.
