Alright ... all but 130 precincts reporting, and Kerry/Edwards have captured 70% of the vote. I'd like to start hearing some spin about what happened. In particular:
What happened to all those "Dean hard counts"? Did this come as a shock to Dean campaign, or did they see the writing on the wall?
What were the organizational strengths of the Kerry/Edwards campaigns that allowed them to surge? What were the proportional influences of media, organization, free-floating sentiment, etc.?
What does this say about Dean's "perfect storm" strategy? Did legions of young out-of-towners simply not measure up to the organizational apparatuses of the other campaigns? Were young campaigners mis-reading "1's"?
Trust me, I say none of this with malice ... I'm just curious.
