I'm a bit suprised to see that no one else has yet posted the new Des Moines Registar Poll. I have included the link below, and generally it is more of the same ole, same ole. Kerry appears to be surging along with Edwards, and Dean and Gephardt are remaining static, or even dropping a bit. Obviously polls are virtually useless in a caucus state, however, I think it is worth noting the trends apparent in these polls. Maybe we are writing off Kerry a bit too quickly. If kos' predictions on the final vote count in Iowa are any indication, most of the kos community is disregarding these recent polls in Kerry's favor as too little, too late. But I think we may all be a bit suprised.
One particular kink in this poll which should be noted is the 4 day split. It was taken from Tuesday through Friday, and thus each day had a different tally. While the final results put Kerry at 26% and Dean at 20%, the single day-Friday tally puts Kerry at 29% and Dean at 16%. Whoa!
