While we're on the topic of coded messages, here's one for you. I'm probably just being paranoid, but it struck me that the kid in Bush's "Forward" ad might be a home schooler. And to Bush supporters, that means FUNDIE home schooler.
Take a look at the screen capture.
He's working at home (you can see the kitchen table in background) on his iMac as the narrator talks about education reform. It's during the day time, when he should probably be at school. Is this subtle sop to the (mostly) fundie home schoolers?
Like I said, I'm probably just being paranoid, but ad messages are all in how they're received. I wonder if this is a coded message?
