in a debate on the 'War on Christmas" (if I knew how to make the cute TM, I would). He is very funny and getting in some good points, but by taking part in the battle, is he giving credibility to the concept?
I think that we should all memorize our talking point because it is so simple: "There is no war on Christmas." It does not exist. The right wing is trying to make people think there is a war so that they can raise money and/or votes to fight it. But it is just a bunch of hooey.
Sam did a reasonable job getting to this point by the end of his time on CNN, and his initial setup was extremely funny, but by the time he made this point, the battle was already engaged.
If anyone tries to drag you into the battle, just repeat and repeat and repeat: "There is no War on Christmas."
