I just watched Jim Lehrer's NewsHour and caught a really intense interview with Larry Wilkerson. He's continuing to make charges about the Cheney-Rumsfeld cabal and the administration run-up to invading Iraq. He added something I hadn't heard from him yet.
According to Wilkerson, the cabal's orginal post-conquest plan was for the U.S. to occupy the country for about 90 days, under the U.S. General first in charge (forget his name - I'm doing this from what I can recall [edit-Jake Garner]) while installing a Chalabi-led government, and then pulling out. Oh boy.....
After the interview, Gwen Eiful (sp?) [edit-it was Margaret Warner] moderated a discussion between David Corn of The Nation and Randy Scheunemann, formerly of the the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq and quite a few other things. Not pretty.
