I have a friend (who has never, btw, visited a blog of any kind as far as I know) who keeps insisting that Jeb is going to win the nomination in '08. He also thinks that it's basically too late in terms of the elections being rigged (I'm a little less pessimistic), but that's another issue.
What I'm curious about is whether I'm the only one who finds it real hard to imagine Jeb getting the nomination. He just seems too sarcastic and negative, just not a good enough politician. And it hardly helps that his brother's approval ratings are in the tank.
What do you guys think? I personally think McCain has a near lock, even despite his having burned bridges with the evangelicals.
