I'm reading a political book called
"Smashing The Gate" that I think could really help U.S. Senate candidate Ned Lamont in the upcoming election in November.
Now you probably haven't heard about this because it happened in a little state, but Connecticut held a primary last night and Lamont won the Democratic race against somebody (can't remember his name).
But Lamont will face a stiff general election race against the incumbent, Faux News Analyst, Sen. Joe Lieberman of the powerhouse Connecticut for Lieberman Party.
"Smashing The Gate" has a lot of information about People Powered Politics, which makes sense because it was written by Jerome Armstrong, who is a blogger at Eschaton (or maybe he's at Digby I always get those blogs confused) and Markov Molotov Zuniga, who I think is a Soviet Communist judging from his name and from what I read at Free Republic the Democratic Party and the Communist Party are the same thing and the Communists know a lot about People Powered Politics.
So while we can celebrate Lamont's win against his opponent, this democracy thing isn't easy and he's going to need help against the Rovian tactics of the Connecticut for Lieberman Party.
That means Lamont should read this book "Smashing The Gate."
"Smashing The Gate" is a pretty good book even though it lacks any reference to Hogwarts or a coverup by the Catholic Church of Jesus' descendants or a vampire being tracked across Europe by an NGO official with an unlimited travel budget and time off (even more unrealistic than the vampire).
Despite that, there's plenty of good ideas in "Smashing The Gate." There's a lot of information on campaigning and winning elections and stuff like that which Lamont now needs.
I don't understand why Kos has never written about "Smashing The Gate." Maybe it's because it's written by a rival blogger or maybe because he doesn't like Soviets. I don't know. But I'm not afraid to promote "Smashing The Gates."
