Seeing that President Bush is apparently going to
give the 9/11 commission its requested two-month extension, I started thinking about what the report might show. Moe, who blogs at
Obsidian Wings pointed me to a
new article in The Weekly Standard that he thinks has information that the commission will include.
It's a very interesting article, in which the author, Richard Schultz, provides his list of nine "showstoppers": reasons that the Clinton and Bush administrations didn't use special ops forces to deal with Osama bin Laden, among others, though those forces were well-trained for just such missions.
I've logged some comments about it over at my blog, as well.
