There are plenty of stories of voter intimidation, fraud, miscounts, and over counts. But the fraud headline isn't going to go very far, at least not by itself.
By themselves, these items of voting irregularities are not going to do more than be the cause for calling of congressional investigations from the left, and snickers and labeling of sore losers from the right.
However, using these voter stories and experiences as leverage, there is one thing left that can be done to save this election from being handed to Bush.
There was fraud and voter intimidation in the 2000 election, with little or nothing having been done to really address the problem, AND it's effects.
If we want to take this election, the only way left to do this is through the electoral college.
As I noted in a previous diary, there are ~24 States who's members of the the electoral college do not have to vote for the cadidate their state selected through popular vote:

Over the next month, the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration will begin to make public the Electoral College representatives being sent by each state:

By law, these certificates must be made available to the public.
I suggest that those who want to see real democracy learn to use the system in it's entirety.
If today, the tables were turned, Republicans would be doing everything in their power to find out who the "faithless electors" might be, and convince them to throw their vote.
With the climate of the country as it is, if there ever was a time that the electoral college could be used as a comeback, now is it.
All EC ballots must be cast no later than Dec 22.
