Global Warming is now accepted science and the new United Nations report coming out on Feb. 2nd confirms it beyond any further doubt.
Warming to raise seas for 1,000 years: U.N. draft
OSLO (Reuters) - World sea levels will keep rising for more than 1,000 years even if governments manage to slow a projected surge in temperatures this century blamed on greenhouse gases, a draft U.N. climate report says...
..."Twenty-first century anthropogenic (human) carbon dioxide emissions will contribute to warming and sea level rise for more than a millennium, due to the timescales required for removal of this gas," the sources quoted the report as saying...
Warming to raise seas for 1,000 years: U.N. draft
Global Warming has many more serious consequences for the future of our Country and our species than the Iraq War ever will. It's time for America to start working on putting an end this catastrophic experiment with our planet's climate.
Americans are Carbon Pigs, with our prodigious use (and waste) of resources, we Americans release far more carbon than any other people on the planet. This fact isn't lost on people in other countries. More than 80% of people the BBC polled in Germany and France were critical of the U.S. stance on Global Warming (54% of Americans too).
I took the low carbon ethic to heart long before it was fashionable. In 1985 I bought some view property with the idea of building a solar house on it. Then I spent a couple of years learning about passive solar architecture. 14 years ago I built a passive solar heated home that I designed myself. I don't expect to use my back up heat for at least the next week. I love living in it but it's only 6 or 8 feet above sea level. I commute by vanpool and ferry boat.
Now when I see a commercial for a SUV the size of a dinosaur I think of it as eco-porn.
But enough about me, back to the new U.N. Report:
...The study, by a panel of 2,500 scientists who advise the United Nations, also says that dust from volcanic eruptions and air pollution seems to have braked warming in recent decades by reflecting sunlight back into space, scientific sources said.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will publish its report, the most complete overview of climate change science, in Paris on February 2 after a final review. It will guide policy makers combating global warming...

2,000 scientists all but end the debate: Human activity causes global warming.
The release of this U.N. report will create the perfect moment to seize the initiative on Global Warming.
