Standing on the corner of Constitution and First it became obvious there was indeed a very large turnout:
And the marchers kept coming:
With a strong message to congress:
Rebuild Peace:

As for the numbers, my wife and I have been to numerous large stadium events with 45-50,000 in attendance and we agreed that this rally simply dwarfed those kind of numbers. How many? Certainly much more than the MSM would have us believe.
Just to diary some personal notes about yesterday: this rally was truly inspiring and as I walked past our nation's capitol with so many kindred spirits, I had tears in my eyes.
So many people present that we simply do not hear. So many people who truly do care about this country that were given a voice and spoke out passionately against this unjust and illegal war and this arrogant administration. We are not being fairly represented. Plain and simple. Our numbers are huge.
We need to continue marching. We need to continue until the media can no longer portray us as some fringe, leftist, counter-culture, sixties leftovers. And we need to continue marching until our voice is heard loud and clear. We cannot tolerate being ignored any longer.
Thanks to all who organized and worked hard to make this event happen and to all those who participated.
Until next time... March on the Pentagon
