I'll admit I find Edwards interesting although not perfect and have spent some time culling through the uncensored public posts on his website.
Today I went to look at Hillary's website to see if I could read some public posts. I thought it might be fun to debate some Clinton supporters and challenge their opinions with some facts and figures...
Lo and behold, there is no public blog! They are 'considering' starting a blog and ask people to offer posts to be approved by the campaign and then posted. As a New Yorker, this speaks of the aloofness Ms Clinton showed in the primaries by refusing to debate challengers or even to throw a victory party for her volunteers. It's clear to me, she could care less how her constituents feel, instead trusting her handlers and the corporations they serve to construct her system of "beliefs".
Obama also lacks an open chat space on his site, unless I just couldn't find it.
I really appreciate the chance on John Edwards' site to view and express uncensored opinion and even criticism or questioning of Edwards' positions. It's probably fantasy to beleive his campaign is affected by the posts, but at least they are there for all the world to see.
