Anyone who's ever worked on Capitol Hill can tell you about advocacy groups and their "lobby days". Every organized group in America seems to bring their people into Washington to descend on Congress once a year to talk with Members and their staffs about whatever issue is near and dear to their hearts.
Now it's time for the people who live in Washington to lobby for their own rights!

Anyone who's ever worked on Capitol Hill can tell you about advocacy groups and their "lobby days". Every organized group in America seems to bring their people into Washington and descends on Congress once a year to talk with Members and their staffs about whatever issue is near and dear to their hearts.
Now it's time for the people who live in Washington to lobby for their own rights!
DC Vote is working with a number of their coalition partners to have District of Columbia residents (and their supporters) walk the halls of Congress on February 15th to lobby for H.R. 328 – the DC Fair and Equal House Voting Rights Act.
If there are any Kossacks in or around the DC area who want to help give over 600,000 Americans the right voting representation in their own government please show up on 15th. If you do, be sure to say hello to me. Thanks for you support, and please spread the word! (pdf link)
Hope to see you there!
Please join DC Vote, elected officials and other citizen advocates as we walk the halls of Congress to educate members of Congress and their staff on the DC Voting Rights Act (H.R. 328).
