With all of the arguments that have been made about making Dkos a reputable, respectable blog and forum, it seems a little hypocritical to have (on the rec list) this diary: The Horsef***er Conspiracy. The diarist doesn't just use the word 'fuck' as an adjective (such as 'fucking Haliburton'), he/she uses it as a verb to describe someone's sex life with a horse.
It just floored me that this kind of diary is somehow accepted and hailed as 'brilliant' while so many other diaries and comments are condemned as not 'intellectual' enough.
Let me make it clear that the word 'fuck' is in my vocabulary and I do use it here sometimes. But there is a huge difference between using the word as a 'cuss' word and using it as a pornographic description.
I have some advice for people who write short diaries and get told off: just throw in a bunch of descriptions of people doing obscene things with animals. Then, instead of being admonished for 'lack of substance', you can go straight to the rec list!
I myself am now wondering if I should throw in a lot of accusatory, random, juvenile allegations of what the above mentioned diarist does with animals. That way, I won't face the admonishment of the diary police who will tell me that this is too short.
But I'll just leave it with this comment: If the above diary is an example of the 'respectability' of Dkos, then I guess my next diary will be a GBCW one. And I'm sure that I'll get more than one person begging me to do so, followed by a huge wave of diaries that accuse me of doing things with horses.
Update: I'm leaving my computer for a while. So all of you who are demanding answers -- sorry. Go ahead and flame me if that is your pleasure. I guess I was confused when I thought Dkos was a place for rational discussion.
Update II: Before I go, I'd like to thank Rolfyboy6 for this one:
Have you stopped fucking Meta-horses yet?
