Yes, this is what we get for helping the Bosnian Muslims against the Serbs--terror, murder, and mayhem in U.S. malls. The Muslims blame us anyway.
Thanks, Bill Clinton.
--Debbie Schlussel
Words alone cannot express the idiocy inherent in this statement. We are told that because the actions of a single thug, the Clinton administration's efforts to protect the Bosnian Muslims from genocide is to be discredited. If an Iraqi refugee ever shoots up several Americans in the future and someone blames it on Bush, you can bet that Ms. Schlussel will be among the first to accuse them of "Blaming America First". The hypocracy is astounding.
The right-wing blogs are whining that the Emm Ess Emm is ignoring the fact that the shooter was a Muslim. This is something that can be disproven with a single Google News search. They then claim that it was a terrorist attack, the FBI disagrees. They insist that he was motivated primarily by Islam despite the fact that he never even visited local mosques (Bosnians were always considered to be fairly secular anyways). It seems more than likely that the kid was your average run-of-the-mill thug thug who could have just as easily been any race, religion, or ethnicity. I wonder if right-wing blogs would ever be willing to focus on the threat posed by radical Investofascists?
Now comes the truely ugly rhetoric, in which the incident is used to claim that we should not have bothered to try and protect the Bosnian Muslim population from Serbian genocide.
Free Republic:
And to think that we protected his sorry ass by bombing our Christian brothers and sisters in Bosnia. The inmates are definitely running this asylum called America.

This is Clinton' legacy.

Thank you, bill clinton for fighting that war on the wrong side, and also for inviting hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees into our country.

Let me get this straight -condensed version
His family was part of a group of ARMED people (Bosnian Muslims) coercing another group of ARMED people. (Bosnian Serbs). The Bosnian Muslims yelled "VICTIM". The US played HERO and brought 'victims' here to live a better life. ARMED 'Victim' with a new life and new chance goes into a crowded mall and starts shooting UNARMED innocent people. And HE is STILL the VICTIM in this?
Did I miss something?
LGF:
If anything, Western involvement in the Balkans signaled to Muslims that the West was now weak and ripe for conquest, since we sacrificed the Christian Serbs in favor of Muslims. As a consequence, instead of a Westernization of the Balkans, we may end up with a Balkanization of the West.

Relatives said their village, Talovici in northeast Bosnia, fell to Serb forces soon after the war began. "For a whole year, we were besieged and bombed day and night. We couldn't stick our noses out of the house," Redzo Talovic recalled.
Obviously, it wasn't bombed enough...
Stormfront:
Unfortunately the innocent people of Salt Lake City had to experience what we Serbians have to live with on a daily basis. We are being forced at gunpoint by the US/NATO military to 'integrate' with these savages.

Its sad to know that it is 2007 and many are only waking up now to what the Serbs, Greeks, Bulgarians, Armenians, Romanians, Russians, etc. have known for years about this particular grade of muslim savages in the region. It just underscores the power of Jews today in the media and government as the Jews support the Turk-Albanian branch of Islam who attack Orthodox Christian countries.

Whenever I hear from a Serbian on this matter I always offer my heartfelt apology for the monstrous things Clinton and the West did to your country. I was totally against it and was completely in sympathy with your attempt to clean out a white Christian living space for your people. I still feel anger when I think of the bombing and other harassment dumped on your people
Sickening. Opposing NATO intervention in Bosnia is one thing, using a single incident to oppose an entire people is quite another.
As Mark Steyn would say: "cull 'em".
