"I don’t think Obama is black in the way I want him to be."
"But, I disagree—he is my favoritest type of Black."
"Your preferred black person is not black—why don’t you see that? My brand of black is special and shiny and awesome."
"Your brand of Black is junk and is only a shadow of my ideal blackness."
This is the racism of curiosity and the inane. This is the racism of stupidity. This is how the media will filibuster Barack Obama.
Unanswerable questions that have no bearing, but are intoxicatingly easy to be drawn into, is a creative form of Racism-- by filibuster.
"Can Barack Obama create two mountains with no valley in between them?"
You might as well be debating this question, because the answer is the same, and so is the result.
Barack Obama isn’t the only person in the race that has to answer questions. But, he is the only one forced into these moronic arguments. Arguments that are unanswerable and infinite.
It fools people. It fools people into thinking that they have learned something about Barack Obama. There is a satisfying feeling after one of these debates that leads people to believe that they have actually discussed something, when in fact they are doing nothing.
Well, nothing is the wrong word. Something is accomplished; time is stolen from the black candidate. Time that could be spent discussing his words, or his plans, or damned near anything else. This is the filibuster of silly questions. The press is engaging in it right now. It is Racism.
This filibuster excludes his ideas because of his race. Therefore Racism.
This filibuster denies him the opportunity afforded the other candidates because of his race. Therefore Racism.
This filibuster is extended to only one candidate because of his race. Therefore Racism.
Help me shed light on this media frame, or Barack Obama will be the most famous candidate that no one knew anything about.
