I remember the day in my life when I figured out that that Reagan had been in the White House for half of my lifespan.
That was the day I gave up on goverment, civics, everything.
Ultimately, he is proven positively benign when compared to what this current executive administration has done to us and ours as a country.
In my mind, the government system did correct itself, and I wish to point out to other people questioning today's problems-the system has not failed.
But it's gonna be scary while it's undergoing corrections.
Discuss amongst yourselves...
Yes, I did edit this diary in honor of the children and mothers who I met today during the library closure-I am collating the images into a better form, and something that no one would feel bad about appearing in.
Thank you all, it was a tough day for us all

I knew it was wrong.
Everyday.
I was supposed to be a happy kid.
I knew that our president was an idiot. An Actor. A Spectator.
Most people in this country were happy.
Reagan didn't manage to kill many Americans with his holier-than-though religous jibber-jabber.
This current president has, in ways I never imagined as a teen.
I know that the system will correct itself, if citizens act.
I know America gets bad executives, and that these trends right themselves within 40 years or so...
I'm tired of thinking of a future that takes place in that time frame.
I'm tired of giving these guys a second chance.
