I’m not a pro or against globalization person. Having an attitude like that is just too simplistic. However I am wary of globalization.
I think the US is too bold and reckless about globalization. I think AMERICANS ARE NAIVE. I have to admit it, Americans are kind but they are naive. Otherwise, how could 9/11 have happened.
The Democrats opposed the Dubai Port deal and I think the Democrats should oppose the NAFTA superhighway and the North American Union. At least the Republican (Bush’s) idea for it.
With globalization comes the possibility of Terror attacks. If we keep opening our ports and borders we’ll continue to have terror attacks. Maybe not so often since there was, after all, like only one attack on the world trace center every ten years... (sorry for the sarcasm).
But they will keep on happening nevertheless because no one cares about anything these days. No one wants to see things through all the way to make sure we don’t put ourselves out there. And I’m not talking about terror attacks only.
I’ll brake it down into two groups of people:
Bush’s guys: They want more reckless globalization and more terror attacks so they have rationales for more wars.
Responsible people: They want to approach globalization more carefully so that we don’t put ourselves out in danger.
I could write more but I’m not in the mood. I’ll leave you with my video which was editor’s pick on youtube:
