Ugh. Yes, the storm that tore through New England was as bad as you can imagine. Over 10% of Maine homes are without power today, mostly along the coastline from Kittery up to Bristol. Oh, if you want a free car, there's one on the beach in Saco. Might need a little work. And yes, it's true that pigs can fly, for I have now seen them aloft (they didn't seem to be enjoying it).
Power's out at home, plus we have 9" of water in the basement. So if someone wants to handle C&J duties tomorrow, I'll guarantee you a Pulitzer (one of the chocolate ones). In the meantime, here's your C&J thread. But I do have one cheer I want to send out:
CHEERS to the Wanker Hunter. Happy fifth anniversary to Atrios's Eschaton blog. Few people can reduce the essence of the traditional media's and punditry's asininery to one or two lines of wit or outrage like he can, and we salute his longevity. Don't forget to stop by and say "Heh."
P.S. Those of you just starting out with blogs of your own, take heart: they all begin with nary a peep.
Swoosh!!...Glug Glug Glug...
