The Battle for Iran's Peace begins right here.

Do not change the meaning of this bill. It is true, the troops are funded at least through June, so there is no hurry. Place an audit trail on that money and pull out the contractors. That's the big issue they aren't talking about. They want that money 'no strings attached' to start that other campaign.

The timetable for withdrawal from Iraq is an immediate diversionary issue. Make Bush turn down the money. Make him say no to veterans care. He will vote against the troops. MAKE HIM DO IT. Make him come up with the excuses. Tell him, "You had the money Bub and YOU turned it down.  Your 'timetable for withdrawal rhetoric' is a lie and the American people know it. It will not embolden the terrorists as you say. The Iraqi's are so tired of violence they need some respite, so it may in fact actually bring peace to Iraq."

When he does veto it, prepare for push-push, rush-rush pressure to get "the troops" that money. The longer you hold out, the tighter the Iran window will get. And whatever happens don't just hand him the money without requiring specific auditing to ensure the money goes where it is supposed to go. I say again, Do not just hand him the money without requiring specific auditing to ensure the money goes where it is supposed to go. Just handing him the money with 'no strings attached' will ensure this group starts their third dirty war. This time with Democrats in charge of Congress.

So whatever happens, do not just hand him the money 'no strings attached'. Do not just hand him a blank check. Do not give him the ability to wage war on Iran. Do not get bullied into giving him the money to do what he wants to do: Bomb Iran. You know he wants to do it; McCain wants to do it; all the war criminals want to do it; because it is all they have left. Don't do it. Don't hand him the means to wage another illegal war.

The writing is on the wall. All the chess pieces are in place. The surge is the counterattack/blocking and screening force. The extra carriers are in position to carry out 24 hour OPS. The media story is set to roll. Covert operations are set. Deals are cut. Plans are in place. But they cannot hold in place forever.

Piss them off. Hold out. Don't give in. Innocent lives hang in the balance. Look at your own children and imagine them with missing arms and legs with their faces writhing in pain. Screaming, "Mommy! Mommy!" or "Daddy! Daddy! Please help, it hurts!" as they pass away right in front of your eyes. Their tears mixing with their blood. If this picture thrills you, then give Bush and Cheney the money. But if you do, I will lose all respect you.

I sent the warning and you know it's true. If I was in your place I would scream out the truth to all. Give Bush and Cheney the money and the deaths of innocents are on your hands. I will not participate in blood stains that will last forever.

Good luck.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

        for your kind words.

Yes, people must again begin to reconnect with humanity as a whole. By appealing human empathy, that is what I am attempting to do. Reconnect people and have them recognize what we are actually doing.

America and Americans are not some superior race, but this is the feeling I get sometimes by listening to others speak.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has to be killed. Really be killed, I mean, physically. He should be eliminated, put to death, assassinated, and all those words that serve to say the same thing.

Former Mossad Director Meir Amit said this explicitly in a recent interview with the "Kfar Chabad" weekly. It is indeed a very impolite way to express our disgust with the Iranian archenemy. Government officials, including ones who have retired already, usually merely hint at such matters - that is, if they choose to talk about them at all.

And still, Meir Amit is right. Here too, while we are so busy with manners and etiquette, the man in Teheran is vigorously advancing the extermination plan for the people of Israel.

Their insanity is boundless.  This is but one particularly blunt example I came across recently.  We know the sentiment remains identical in Washington.

    our troops.

It could be very difficult to get a new spending bill through Congress this session.

For example, it might be necessary to cut the Department of Justice's budget in order to find the funds for the troops.  Or at least until they have a new Attorney General who can manage that Department.

Let's see.  How about funding the troops month by month and requiring the President to come to the hill to report on the progress of the surge each month?
