The free MegaVote service sends you a weekly update letting you know how your reps voted over the past week and what votes are coming up. I just received my first alert. Here's a snippet:
The house voted on a Wild Horse Protection Bill? I had no idea. I followed the link in the email, and I saw that 137 bozos actually voted against a bill saving burros from the slaughterhouse. Anyhow, I returned to my MegaVote email, and this time I used the provided link to send a message to Chris Murphy letting him know I thought he was right-on with his vote to preserve Wild Ass. Of course, he also cast his vote in support of the Iraq Accountability Appropriations Act, but I knew I could count on him for that.
