Dear Mrs. Pelosi,
I am writing to respectfully warn you of the political and electoral consequences you and [my] party will suffer should you decide to sneak the funding bill into the procedural vote on the rule.
I remind you that we, in the Democratic Party Constituency transcend the savvy that seems to be perpetually underestimated by our Party leadership in Congress. Further, I remind you that we, the majority of the American People have clearly and specifically intended to send the message in 2006 that we want to end the occupation of Iraq as swiftly and as safely for the Troops as humanly possible.
Your failure to comply with the respectful demands placed on you as a predominant elected official will not wane into obscurity as with other matters. Rather, your actions shall be viewed by your electorate and your Party as a sinister betrayal, lazily covered up by House procedure.
This delusional venture is the primary issue on the American table, therefore, this war is and shall remain bigger than you and [my] party's loyalty to its members in Congress. Should you decide to insult the intellect of the gamut of your previous supporters, I, for one, shall work tirelessly to ensure that you and Senator Reid are removed from your leadership positions promptly.
I beg of you, Mrs. Pelosi, do not underestimate the immense power and savvy of your constituency. Please, for once in a great, long while, do what is right for the good of your nation. Doing otherwise, I fear, will be a swift signal of your political peril.
Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing back.
Sincerely,
Andrew G
