So this guy says "on Memorial Day, we remember that freedom isn’t free." And like Thomas Jane portraying Mickey Mantle, I ask "what the fuck are you talking about?"
Like in some war sometime, some guys died to ensure our freedom. What the fuck? When did that happen? Was that Iraq - I don’t think so. Vietnam - no, that wasn’t it. Korea - fuck no. Maybe WWII, when the Nazi’s never attacked us, and never were gonna. So the Japs did, and then promptly sailed home with no thought of ever invading the US; or endangering our ‘freedom.’
What the fuck, man? Who the fuck ever died to make us free? You mean, the American Revolution, when we was slaves to the Brits? Jeez, Canada didn’t suffer so awful from that indignity, nor Australia. How come we had to die fer freedom and they didn’t?
What the fuck do these dumb fuck-ass slogans mean anyway? We gotta pay $10 million an hour for Bush’s war? So his daddy can make all that money on defense contracts. Is that what the dumb-fuck is trying to tell you?
