I've got a few moments of down time before final debate preparations and I wanted to have a conversation with you. Not just me talking at you, but a real give-and-take about the debate tonight, Iraq, and other important issues you might be wondering about.
For some of you, our first introduction was the commercial I filmed with Ned Lamont during his exciting campaign for Senate in my home state of Connecticut. Some of you may have participated in our "Restore Habeas" campaign earlier this year. And I suspect the rest may have may have first heard from me two weeks ago when I announced my opposition to the latest blank-check Iraq Supplemental.
I've been sitting with folks around the country as part of our "Kitchen Table Campaign." We've made kitchen tables a sort of symbol of our campaign because its where people come together, share concerns and ideas. I think the same is true of these live video chats. Earlier this week I had the opportunity to talk with the folks at Firedoglake and my staff tells me over 3200 people tuned into the real time give-and-take.
Members of that community put their questions in the comments, and I addressed them in real-time. That seems like a good way to go about this, so if you have a question, just post it below and I'll do my best to get to as many as possible.
