The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held a hearing today "to examine statements made by GSA Administrator Lurita Doan that impugn the reputation of federal officials who cooperated with a Committee investigation into Ms. Doan's conduct at the General Services Administration."
Chairman Waxman's magnificent opening statement is a must read.
A streaming video recording of the hearing is currently archived on the C-SPAN website. Look for House Oversight & Gov't. Reform Cmtes.'s Investigation into GSA Administrator. The hearing lasted for 3 hours and 20 minute.

Thank you, Ellicatt!
Waxman closing
You have been investigated in your FIRST YEAR of multiple violation (listing) - you refuse to accept any responsibility and attack others, claim partisan motives for investigation (Doan snorts on camera, then makes sure mike is off). Your conduct is what brings you here today. I have no confidence that you have learned anything. I don't see any other course of action for the good of your agency but for you to resign. Have lost public confidence in your agency by violating the Hatch Act. Will be up to POTUS to decide what to do. I urge you to resign.
