As we draw nearer to the 2008 election, we are almost certain to find the Republicans providing false information to voters regarding their 'successes' in the last four years. Knowing Karl Rove and the 'spin machine' every conceivable event will be blamed on anyone who isn't Republican.
In this short video I have provided a recap of the massive incompetences, inadequacies, lies, deceptions and more by the Bush Administration since 2000. The Republican Party simply can't be allowed to go blameless, they enabled George W. Bush. Without their providing him the platform and making him their nominee, he never would have become President. This isn't even addressing the issue of the possible/probably voter fraud of the 2000 and perhaps 2004 elections. This is a disgrace to America and the gullibility factor of the voters simply has to be overcome.
Today the media is trying to spin one candidate, John Edwards, personal haircut into a major election event. That is trivial to begin with and a disgusting attempt to avoid the issues. This cannot be allowed to happen with any of the candidates this election. Karl Rove is still in hiding and manipulating the 2008 election. It behooves all of us to remember that and stop the petty nonsense before it takes yet another election. Do we really want yet another election stolen by deceit, lies and misinformation by the Republican Party or any other person or group of people. We need to get back to a country that is ruled by the people and for the people. I don't give a stitch who has a haircut, I want to know if they can 'cut it' for our country if elected!
In case you have forgotten (I'm sure I have forgotten some), here are some of the major events the Republicans have to answer for in 2008.
(1) 911 not being avenged;
(2) Invasion of our Civil Liberties;
(3) Hurricane Katrina being mishandled; (Remember the 'Good job Brownie'?)
(4) Iraq War being the result of lies and deception;
(5) Calculated misinformation constantly being fed to the voters and public;
(6) Lack of border control;
(7) Nothing done about the poverty in our country;
(8) Nothing done about millions being without health insurance and health care;
(9) Nothing being done about jobs being outsourced to other countries;
(10) Nothing being done about improving education;
(11) Nothing being done to make sure we retain our critical infrastructure;
(12) The embarrassment, horrific torture, direct contradiction to the Geneva Conventions and American values of abu ghraib;
(13) Leaks exposing CIA Agent Valerie Plame and the lies attempting to cover it up and throw doubt on her integrity;
(14) Ken Lay;
(14) Lewis Libby;
(15) Dick Cheney;
(16) The total embarrassment of America before the entire world.
(17) Allowing Osama bin Laden's family to leave the country after 9/11;
(18) Inadequate care for soldiers wounded in Iraq;
(19) Extended tours in Iraq time after time;
(20) Using National Guard personnel for extended tours in the deceitful Iraq War;
(21) Refusing to listen to anyone even the voters;
(22) Appearing in public both inside our country and internationally either drunk or heavily medicated. One of those was at the state of the Union Address in 2005 (I believe the year is correct). He was so medicated his speech was slurred.
(23) Condoning and encouraging Ann Coulter;
(24) Not providing necessary healthcare for firefighters and other personnel after 9/11.
(25) Mission accomplished and other stupid childish maneuvers to claim attention for himself.
If you are not outraged, you simply are not paying attention! And as far as John McCain and others are concerned, 'You are known by the company you keep!' Men lied and people died and the entire 2 terms has gone downhill. Responsibility must be placed where it belongs and we must no longer stand for their 'spin game'. No one is immune to it, so to think it is helping your candidate is being naive. This is George Bush's caused problems and the fault of the Republican enablers. One further thing, I think that impeachment should also carry a penalty of reclaiming all of his 'presidential privileges' such as 'lifetime pension, medical care and protection'. Why should the taxpayer have to carry more burden on behalf of this man?
