Just when you thought that Republicans couldn't get any more hypocritical, Tucker Carlson takes it to a new level.
From the July 10 edition of MSNBC's Tucker:
I mean, when he gets up there, he says we're waging a war against cynicism. That is too abstract. It has nothing to do with the concerns of ordinary people, and it is also, frankly, kind of wimpy.
Tucker Carlson is calling someone else "kind of wimpy"? Did I read that right? How on earth could Tucker call someone else wimpy when he himself looks like a total wuss? I mean, first of all, he looks like he's about thirteen years old... like puberty is setting in and his voice is changing... like he'll need to start shaving his little 8th grade mustache soon.
The guy, Carlson, made a career out of looking wimpy, with his little bittie bow tie, sports coat with khaki pants, and his white sneakers. On Crossfire, against James Carville and Paul Begala, he acted like a whiny little kid when he didn't get his way, often yelling "na, na, na, na, na, na, na... I can't hear you... I can't hear you". Sometimes he looked like he was going to run home crying, going to tell his mama that the other boys were picking on him.
And of course, Tucker is a wimp when it comes to taking on his own party. He spent the past six years sitting on Bush's lap like most of his fellow "journalists" and Republicans. He doesn't have the spine to take on the Bush Admininstration or any other group on the right. He is a yellow-bellied coward... a lilly-livered chicken.
And he has the gall to call the courageous Senator from Illinois "kind of wimpy"?
What a hypocrite.
