The results of yesterday's Daily Kos Daily Tracking Poll of the top 3 candidates are in and despite the fact that enthusiasm for Edwards has reached its lowest point since the poll began, he continued to tower over the other candidates and for the fouth straight day had more support than Obama and Clinton combined (both of whom returned to their high points).

Meanwhile concerns about the unscientific and meaningless nature of this poll continue to mount, with some even claiming there have been deliberate attempts to skew the results:

My response to such concerns has been that it's easy to overinterpret random swings in data and that even if overly enthusiastic fans of one candidate or another are stuffing the poll, that should be reflected in the final numbers because enthusiasm for each candidate is what the poll is here to measure. However given the small sample sizes this poll generates, it is a lot more vulnerbale to deliberate skewing than even most unscientific polls.
I wish I could do a poll on whether this poll is worth continuing, but I'll allow you to vote yes by recommending it.
