My latest diary on the visible crimes of George Bush while in the TXANG, along with the crimes of his superiors (available here: http://www.dailykos.com/... ) got such a good reception I thought I'd try another one.
This story has always fascinated me: its a story of crime and coverup thats gone on for decades--and its the most successfull media scam put over by the Bush administration. Take a bow, KarlRove and Dan Bartlett, though no one will ever know how (but, evidently, me and a few Faithful Readers) you got Bush re-elected with the worst, most disgraceful military record in presidential history. You are superb liars, as are the people you work with.
As I said in the previous diary, I don't delude myself for one minute that this will ever be exposed while Bush is in office--you'd have to put our commander in chief in jail, no fooling. Its as serious as a heart attack for Bush, its still his greatest vulnerability. Too bad theyre so succesfull in keeping people from understanding it.
But in the coming years when people look back and try and figure out what was really happening during this period, I want the facts to be out there. Bush scammed everyone (with a lot of help) and got completely away with it. Don't bother to thank me, I enjoy doing this, because, unlike George Bush, I have a genuine honorable discharge of my own, complete with medals and qualifications. The proof I was proud of it is that I showed up to sign it, again unlike George Bush.
The last diary was about how Bush embezzled money from the TXANG, with the willing cooperation of his superiors. A coment made there inspires me to show how Bush's discharge is completely fraudulent, was fraudulently obtained and has been altered. The falsifications Bush's superiors did show many glitches and errors. This is because they never thought this would be closely looked at--who in his right mind would have predicted in 1973 that Bush would ever be elected President?
This is one of the most important crimes Ive looked at in Bush's records because there is no statute of limitations for the crime of obtaining or effecting a discharge under false pretenses. Although the statute of limitations has probably run out for the embezzlement, this one is still active. It is absolutely true that there is enough evidence out there to put George Bush is jail and this is part of it.
Art 83 UCMJ: "Any person who... 2) procures his own separation from the armed forces by knowingly false representation or deliberate concealment as to his eligibility for that separation shall be tried as a court marial may direct..." http://usmilitary.about.com/...
Art 84: ""Any person subject to this chapter who effects an enlistment or appointment in or a separation from the armed forces of any person who is known to him to be ineligible for that enlistment, appointment, or separation because it is prohibited by law, regulation, or order shall be punished as a court-martial may direct." http://usmilitary.about.com/...
The maximum penalty for both of these statutes is: "Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years."
So those are the statutes applicable here: Art 83 for Bush, Art 84 for his superiors. They all colluded to fraudulently obtain Bush's discharge. Bush may think he has some wiggle room, saying he was only following his superiors orders, but its false: Bush knew when he cashed the checks for the flight pay he was ineligible for (see previous diary) that He hadn't done the work he was getting paid for--flying an airplane--and he knew when he got the discharge (mailed to him?) that he wasn't eligible for it. Bush had an MSO (military Service Obligaton ) untill May 26 1974 according to documents he signed like this one: http://www.glcq.com/...
and this one that he didn't sign: http://www.glcq.com/... ("...he has a Military Service Obligation untill May 26 1974...")
Yet Bush was released 8 months prior to this date, simply because he, apparently, just asked the right people for it--- and the right people discharged him illegally.
Bush's discharge is based on days in 1972 and 1973 during which he was illegally kept on the rolls as a pilot, on flight status (See previous diary) but during this time, he was on the rolls of no unit at all, least of all the only two units he could have been attending: the 111th TXANG and the 187th ALANG.
The most important thing to remember is that both of the only two units he could have been in say adamantly that he wasn't there in their units during this whole year. The 111th
says in this document: http://www.glcq.com/... that "...Bush has not been observed during the time of this report..." {May 1972-73}
That states unequivocally that Bush was not officially observed this whole year, he did not attend trainings there. And he also wasn't PAID through them either.
Tha Alabama unit is just as adamant. Although their records cover this period and are in good order, they don't show Bush at all, which they would if Bush had been there. When it is said that there are no records showing him there, its the same as saying the records show he wasn't there or the whole purpose of record keeping for attendance is defeated! So Bush wasn't paid through that unit nor on their authorization either. With the clear statements of these units, it is impossible for Bush to have been paid there or on their authorization. So how did he get paid?
That was the subject of the last diary in which I went into greater detail. This one concerns the way that the days of ths year were counted towards his discharge. As I showed in the last diary, Bush's superiors illegally kept him on flight status after he had been suspended from flying in complete violation of AFM 35-13 para 2-11, which mandated that he be removed from flight status. And they kept paying him flight pay due to falsely certifying him to be a pilot "on-fly" for over a year after he had been suspended under para 2-29m.
So Bush was entirely ineligible to be called a pilot and to get paid flight pay after 8/1/72. This document shows Rufus Martin, personnell officer of the 147th, falsely certifying him to be a "pilot on'fly" 8 months (14 paid days) after he had been suspended: http://www.glcq.com/...
Martin had no basis at all to certify Bush as a "pilot on-fly" this year, neither of the two units he could have been in would vouch for him--only Martin. Martin didn't get this information from either of the two units Bush could have been in--he made it up himself. Clear falsifications like this is how Bush continued to get paid flight pay and how he got "honorably"discharged--and why they scrambled up his records when they released them
Bush was fraudulently paid 14 days this year, with flight pay, on the false assertion that he was a pilot "on-fly." He didn't fly the whole year and was suspended for 8 months of it,something not noted on his 1973 OETR cited above. This is also a falsification: his Pilot evaluation didn't even mention the fact that had been suspended--critical in assessing a pilot's performance. (think: "...or deliberate concealment.." see above regulations)
They were pretending he was still a pilot. They say : "...a non-flying position.." in direct conflict with Martin's certification that he was a Pilot-on-fly this year.
He was paid for work he could not perform, having been suspended from doing it, on days that both units that he could have been in say he wasn't there and they were not even training on most of those days anyway. He could NOT have performed the pilots work he was paid to do on those days, even if he DID show up because he was suspended from doing it. According to Bush's spin, they were paying him pilot's pay and flight pay to do "back office Paperwork.." as a cost cutting measure because his plane was going obsolete---and all the time they were paying his replacement to fly his plane!!
Now, how the hell did THAT work?? (answer: fraudulently!)
And those fraudulent days were used in counting up Bush's total days on his discharge. 10 of them are counted in this points summary, on which his discharge is based: http://www.glcq.com/...
As the days counted for his discharge are fraudulent, based on his false rating, his discharge is entirely fraudulent. But thats not all thats fraudulent about his discharge: http://users.cis.net/...
Notice the "NONE" in capital letters in his qualification box? That happened on August 1, 1972, when he was evidently stripped of ALL his qualifications. "NONE" in someone's qualifications box is unique--no other veteran Ive showed this to can explain it, nor the fact that he didn't show up to sign it. Its not what someone's discharge look like when he gets an early out for college: I got a 3 months early out and they didn't strip me of my medals and qualifications.
So what does someone do in the military after he's been stripped of ALL his qualifications? Paint rocks white? More succinctly, how and why does someone get paid as a pilot, with flight pay, for a year after he''s been stripped of ALL of his qualifications? Nobody has ever apparently asked those questions but me, least of all the media--you read it in my diaries only. (yeah, I'm proud of myself for seeing through this BS--maybe my military experience was worth something after all)
Not only does Bush's discharge show him stripped of ALL his qualifications (in capital letters yet) but apparently all of his meager crop of medals too: his NDSM and his pistol qualification badge. (its what he's wearing in this picture: http://www.glcq.com/... ) Its bizarre--ridculous!--to have NO medals after allegedly 5+ years and just as bizarre to have only the NDSM and a pistol qualification badge--thats what every 6 months trainee has. Hardly an admirable record for someone who was supposedly the pride of the TXANG. IMHO, this was what the Swifboating was abot--attack Kerry's medals to cover the fact that Bush didn't have ANY! Can you believe A Silver Star and Purple Heart recipient's medals being attacked by the attack dogs and Peasants With Pitchforks of a man who didn't get ANY medals at all? And thatr man pays them to do it? Better believe it, its history, read it right off his discharge. (or not, rather) I think this is the most dishonorable thing Bush has ever done--and there's lots of competition fot that. This is what he owes Rove and Bartlett for.
The TAFCS and TAFMS in his medals box are NOT medals, they mean, respectively, Total Accumulated Federal Civilian/Military Service. These are totals of training days, not medals and there should be a colon and a number after each of them indicating time in category. (see this configuration at: http://www.glcq.com/... Bottom of page 2)
The fact that there are no colons or numbers after them means this has been whited out--there would be no reason at all for Martin to type just this without the rest of the information. Most probably ths was whited out when the Remarks box was changed, perhaps to give Bush something to have in his medals box, to make it look like he had something there. Nothing else makes sense, there's really no justfiable reason to put these in as they are.
The lines in the Remarks box run at way different angles to the rest of this page and the margins are different. Typewriters of the time had no corrective feature--the only way ths was changed was to take the page out of the typewriter, white out what was there and retype it--sloppily. You can see the marks of whiteout: the two letters up in the upper right hand outside the margins, the marks on the left side.
Furthermore, Bush and his supporters have never explained this line: "...Officer has a six year srvice obligation...and has completed 5 years 4 months and 5 days..." If you only finished 5 years 4 months and 5 days of a 6 year commitment, you didn't finish the commitment.
Look at Bush's payroll records: http://news.findlaw.com/... This is the ONLY record of his attendance at all after Apr 1972 and the difference between what it says here and what his two units say about his attendance is a HUGE anomaly--worthy of an investigation right there. Why does this show him getting paid when the units' records don't show him at all? See those blanks totaling 9 months? He wasn't showing up and he wasn't getting paid--indisputably. There's no paperwork at all that explains these absences. Those months are falsely counted in that total to stretch Bush's time out. This phony information also makes the discharge fraudulent and suggests the main reason that the TAFCS and TAFMS were altered--they didn't agree with the "5+ year" number and that number is what they wanted.
The "term of enlistment " box is also bizarre: "changed to indefinite" but Bush's MSO was definite--6 years ending in May 26 1974 (see above) There IS no "indefinite" MSO (ridiculous!) and if there is, Bush didn't have one. There's no paperwork changing his MSO so this is false and our friend "Falsifyin' Rufus" Martin is again the only signature on here.
Of real interst is why Bush wasn't there to sign his discharge. The day of your discharge is your last paid day but not for Bush--he'd been gone from Texas for two months by this time, leaving in August, without orders or approval, before he'd even put in his request for discharge : http://www.glcq.com/... He also leaves no forwarding address on this request, raising the question as to how he knew the discharge would be approved. Notice they typed in "approval" for Col Killian when they typed the letter, at the same time with the same typewriter and margins. Notice Bush is not asking for permission to leave and attend Harvard, he's telling them he's going to do it. Pretty strange for a military request. (Not on official form either) There's no attributioon who typed this but it definitely wasn't George Bush--or he typed in the text for Kilian's approval when he did it--again very strange. Bush didn't mail this in, he HAD to show up that day and sign it (or the dates are false) something he could hardly do because he was in Mass. on that day. Certainly Rufus Martin typed it and may have signed it also--there's evidence of this.
So Bush's discharge shows he was entirely unqualified to hold the position he is credited with, it shows him stripped of ALL his qualifications and medals, states clearly that he didn't finish his commitment and has clear marks of alteration. Yet this discharge is the ONLY thing Bush has to prove his "honorable service." He waves it around but he sure doesn't show it or explain it to anyone. Its like saying you have a terrific driving record because you have a phony looking driver's license.
There's much more extensive evidence than I can go into here but if interest keeps up, I'll do some more. People acccuse me of being wordy on this but its a complex topic thats been twisted and lied about for decades. It takes a lot of words to explain it. (Youre my role model, dengre) This is one of the ways Bushco has kept the media from looking into it.
Bush's aides came in on Friday afternoon and dropped his records, which they say theyre proud of, all scrambled up on the table, without a word of explanation or narrative and left and no one thought that was suspicious but few people like me. No, no, no, MSM, nothing to look at here at all, oh LOOK there goes the Runaway Bride!! And they bought it, of course, because theyre bought or cowed or both. When you unscramble Bush's papers you can see why--there's more smoking guns than in any John Wayne movie, mostly in plain English. America still may come to appreciate it some day.
