Help the U.S.
When was the last time you can say that you went out of your way to help someone you know, or even a complete stranger. When was the last time someone you knew helped you, or even a complete stranger. Someone who went out of there way just to help you out for that short moment that you needed help. I have recently moved from a small town in Kansas, and moved to Denver, Colorado. The one thing that I feel is really missing in this country is not necessarily the leadership. I feel that we have gotten to the point that everyone looks out for themself. No one is willing to lend out a helping hand, even if it is just helping someone push there car to the next gas station when they have ran out of gas in their car.
The generation of WWII was probably the last generation who really did what they could to help each other as a whole. I have talked to my Grandpa and listened to his stories. He would tell me how when he was finished with what he was suppose to do on the farm, he would go and help his brothers until they were finished. Then when they were finished they would help the farm next to theirs. They did what they could to help the people they knew.
I feel that the main problem that our country is facing is the fact that people just don't want to work like they use to. No one is willing to roll up their sleeves and work and help people who need it. Now I'm not saying that eveyone should go out there and try to change the world all at once. What I am saying is that the next time you see your neighbor trying to fix his fence that was blown over by wind, or when you see someone on the side of the road trying to replace a flat tire. Offer them your support and help. If we are going to get this country back on top, then we are going to have to do it together.
