We've all been there haven't we?
Misplaced the carkeys a time or two.
Happens as we age. Sometimes happens before we are all that old. Its really quite disconcerting.
The new biography of George Bush Jr written by Robert Draper suggests that a lot of things are like misplaced carkeys. Among them: the reason the Iraqi Army was disbanded.
Perhaps this new book just now on the scene would more appropriately be titled
"CRS: the Legacy of George W Bush."
We are told in this latest Bush book, that George apparently suffers from what is colloquially known as "CRS."
Well, OK - not in so many words. That's my personal extrapolation given the history of this white house occupant & all his minion's testimony.
Nonetheless it has to be questioned if this is a chronic condition given the 6 years of convenient & failed memory we've seen. The Bush Legacy is partially formed in this co-operative book. So those words should resonate ominously. These are very likely words which they wanted received in a favorable light.
After all, if George doesn't not recall why the Iraqi Army was disbanded - and have such information at his very fingertips, should we worry? Does this signal a debilitating disease or a total disconnect from reality?
Lost Carkeys & disbanded ARMIES????
No wonder he was looking for WMDs under chairs.
Maybe we are complicit, or a fair number of Americans are complicit in the mental confusion.
Who is worse - Gilligan & his misadventures - or the islanders that keep believing things will turn out different THIS episode?????
Should Bush be removed for incompetence - or the American public for lacking the discrimination to grasp that Gilligan hasn't got much of a clue?
It might behoove us to increase the Ginko Biloba & truck it into Washington.
Tumeric seems to benefit Alzheimer's patients in recent studies. Perhaps a cocktail?
