The reason the media pushes inevitability and the false meme of experience regarding Hillary Clinton is due to her relative lack of enthusiam elsewhere. The Obama campaign rightly points out that Senator Clinton has a "quasi-incumbent" advantage as result of her marriage to the former popular president Bill Clinton. Those good memories regarding the Clinton administration, rightly or wrongly, are being associated with Hillary's candidacy. However, Obama holds a trump card that, regardless of current polling, in the end will overwhelm Clinton's incumbent advantage and that is enthusiam.
Organization by the Obama campaign is outpacing his rivals. People for Clinton are usually in her court because of nostalgia, however, people for Obama, as most Obama supporters can attest, are extremely excited at the prospect of Obama's candidacy and his true message of change.
Tom Harkin's steak fry was the first real test of organization for the presidential contenders and the sea of Obama signs spread through the crowd shows how serious the Obama campaign is. Regardless of current polling, a good deal of the demographic that Obama does most well in is not properly polled . . . youth voters.
The Obama campaign in recents months have also converted their debate handicap into a plus. He is now aggressively using it as a tool for openly questioning nonsensical media generated narratives. More importantly, his consistency in conviction is highlighted by Hillary Clinton's changing positions on issues.
Obama also has one of the strongest presence of internet supporters. The citizen ad craze by Obama supporters has been underestimated by the media. Some of my strongests ads highlighting Hillary's contradictions have seen over ten thousand views. One ad in particular, Hillary changes position on the use of nukes, played a heavy role in getting the footage out regarding Hillary's contradictions. Before that youtube clip there was no media outlet running her stance on nukes nor was there any footage availabe on the net. It was the effort led by myself and a group of fellow Obama supporters that secured a copy of that footage straight from Bloomberg news' video distributor. Our footage made its way into the last Iowa debate in Des Moines.
This kind of enthusiam moves people to vote and is what the Obama campaign is counting on to turn out in droves when it matters. So when I hear inevitability I tell those people, "You are right. Its inevitable that I am going to show up to vote."
